China Programs is an independent educational organization with headquarters in Shanghai that develops and operates a wide range of China-related educational programs.  These programs create thoughtful and in-depth personal and group learning experiences through a combination of investigative learning and discussions with leading experts.  Learning Mandarin, from introductory through advanced levels, is fostered through context-driven teaching methods both for programs in China and through innovative online tools.  China Programs leadership has been designing and conducting programs in China for high school students from around the world since 2002 and is deeply committed to expanding people’s understanding of China and the learning of Mandarin through personal experience and online technologies.

• Research and analyze existing online tools for foreign language acquisition
• Come up with useful new ideas for our online Mandarin learning platform
• Assist in developing and assuring the accuracy of Chinese language content
• Work with the design team to develop drafts for specific modules and animations

• Undergraduate or graduate level study with a strong academic record
• Strong interest in web and mobile technologies and design
• A record of creativity, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills
• At least two years of experience in studying a foreign language (Mandarin preferred) at a college level
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Keynote is preferred but not required

• Full-time (five days a week)
• Minimum two to three month commitment, extendable upon review
